National Forests are home to a wide variety of plants and animals. As a foreigner, you may be surprised to find out that almost every part of the country possesses such kind of forest. There are some remarkable National Forests to be named such as Ba B?, Cuc Phuong, Cat Ba, Ba Vi, Nam Cát Tiên (southern Cat Tien), Phu Quoc, etc. These national forests and gardens occupy various species of animal among which several species are rare and precious ones that have already been listed in the World’s Red Book.

Ba Bể National Park (Bac Kan) comprises a large number of plants, animals, reptiles, birds. Besides, with the existence of Ba Be Lake, there are many species of fishes and amphibians.

BaVi National Forest is located in Ha Tay province and extended to Hoa Binh also. More than 1000 species of plant have been found; besides, there are a wide range of animals, birds, reptiles, etc.

PhuQuoc National Park (Kien Giang) provides little information on the flora and fauna system there. The dominated vegetation here is evergreen forest on low hills and mountains. Especially, the sea here is rather diversified with lots of coral reefs and fishes.
