One day becoming a fisherman in Thanh Nam Fishing Village Thanh Nam is shaped by the Thu Bon River. Fishermen have come here since time immemorial to cast their nets and catch prawns, crab and fish at the place we now call "Con Chai" (Fishing Dune). A day of relaxing as you go to the enchanting Thanh Nam Fishing Village, staying and working with the accommodating local people and learn how to catch fish in this traditional fishing area village.

  • 7.30: The tour guide will pick you up at the your hotel in Hoi An and take you to visit a family in Thanh Nam Fishing Village. On the way you enjoy the beautiful countryside views such as seeing water buffalos, rice paddle field, birds, beautiful ...

 

  • 8.00 – 11.00: Join together with the local fishermen to make net, fishing trap and catch fish by boat.

 

  • 11.00 – 14.00: Have lunch with the local family with fresh fish just caught.

 

  • 14.00 – 16.30: Learn how to mend the net and take boat together with the local fishermen to catch fish.

 

  • 16.30: Say goodbye to the local family, continue to Dai Chiem estuary to visit the peaceful waterways with their many boats and wharf.

 

  • 18.00: Return to your hotel in Hoi An. Ending the trip
