Itinerary
  • 7.00 am: Pick up at hotel in Hanoi.

 

  • 8.00 am: Visit Thay Pagoda, one of famous attractions in Ha Tay Province built in the 11th century during the reign of King Ly Nhan Tong. It is also known as Thien Phuc Pagoda dedicated to Thich Ca Budha, Sakyamuni and 18 arhats. This one is located at the foot of Thay mountain and has a neat setting consisting of three sections: the outer part for offerings and ceremonies, the middle part for worship of Buddha and the inner part for worship of the monk Tu Dao Hanh, the master after whom the pagoda is named. In here, you'll have a chance to see the oldest stage for performing water puppet right in the village lake

 

  • Continue visiting Phat Tich and Cac Co Caves (a steep 10-minute climb).

 

  • Have lunch and relax until 2.00 pm.

 

  • 2.00 pm: Visit Tay Phuong Pagoda. Built in the 17th century, and being very famous for the 18 statues of La Han coated with lacquer paint, Tay Phuong Pagoda is an exposition gallery for many national engraving and sculpture masterpieces.

 

  • Then continue visiting Tram Gian Pagoda. Its impressive construction and history immerse the visitor immediately: its multi-pillared temples, ornate altars, leisure areas, where mandarins would play chess with live human pieces.

 

  • 4.00 pm: Get on car back to Hanoi.

 

  • 5.00 pm: Arrive in Hanoi.
