How to get to Danang

By air

Danang International airport, which is about 2.5 kilometers to the south-west of the city, offers direct flights to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Nha Trang, etc. There are also many international routes from Danang to cities in regional countries (Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, etc.)

By train

If you would like to travel by train, you may get to Danang Railway Station, which is located at 202 Hai Phong Street. For more information, you may contact via its telephone number 821 175 – 823 810.

It takes about 24 hours to transfer from Ho Chi Minh City to Danang by train. Especially, if you would like to transfer from Danang to Hue, you may take the express train Danang – Hue, which is just about 4 hours. It should be noted that almost all trains stop at Danang Railway Station.

Other means of transportation

You can also transfer to Danang as well as travel around Danang city by bus, minibus, taxi and motorbike. Danang Railway Station offers daily bus trips to many cities within the country like Danang-Hue, Danang-Ho Chi Minh City, Danang-Dong Hoi. There is also a daily minibus between Danang and Hoi An which departs at 8 am and returns at 5 pm. Car and motorbike are always available and can be rented at some hotels and bars in the city. Motorbike taxi is everywhere. However, you should bargain in advance.
